In February 2021, Illinois Fence Company installed a 4-foot vinyl fence in Naperville, IL. As you can see in the photos, there was a lot of snow on the ground! We had to snow blow around the property's perimeter so that the crew could install the fence to grade. The good thing about the snow is that it acts as a blanket, so the ground underneath wasn't frozen! The fence installation crew could dig the holes and set the concrete without any frost issues. The new homeowner was pleased to get their fence installed for their dogs!
It took about two days to install over 351' of vinyl with two gates and dirt removal. The vinyl fence style: 4' Traditional Spaced Picket White Vinyl Fence. You could do this design with a 4-inch or 6-inch picket. And the standard spacing is 2 inches. If you wanted to get a semi-private fence, you could go down to a 1-inch space. The top and bottom rails are 2x6 rails that go inside the posts. You could do 6-foot long or 8-foot long sections. The benefit to 6-foot long sections is more support, thus making the fence stronger.
